EDITORS NOTE: it seemed to me that the following article left out some
critical information. It would be a shame if the two liars who contrived to have the complaint lodged with OSP, Councilor
Kathleen Price and Police Chief Dean Muchow weren't given credit for their actions. How it was worked was Price, under Muchow's
direction, filed the complaint against Wolf and then Muchow himself puts on his uniform and tries to present himself as a
disinterested witness. The good thing about it is that now OSP Jeff Proulx knows what Dean Muchow looks like when he lies.
Councilman investigated over a load of fill dirt
By Sanne Specht
Mail Tribune
GOLD HILL — Oregon State Police are investigating allegations that Councilman Gus Wolf used his city position to
obtain favors from a local contractor.
State police have interviewed Royal Gasso, Gold Hill's public works director, and Dean Muchow, the police chief, while
trying to determine whether Wolf received free excavation and fill dirt from contractors working on a residential development
adjacent to Wolf's home on Seventh Avenue.
Gasso was interviewed by Sgt. Jeff Proulx at OSP headquarters on Thursday afternoon. Gasso said he told Proulx he did not
believe Wolf had misused his powers.
"This whole thing is frankly ridiculous," said Gasso. "I can't believe anything that's happened up there warrants an investigation
by state police."
Muchow and Proulx declined requests from the Mail Tribune for comment.
Frank McElheran, a superintendent
for KOGAP Excavation, said his company rerouted power and phone to Wolf's residence because Wolf's power pole was removed
to make way for a new street.
"It cracked me up when I heard that (Wolf was being accused)," said McElheran. "He hasn't caused us any problems. We took
the pole out. The power and phone had to be rerouted. We would have done that for anyone."
McElheran said Wolf asked for driveway access to the newly installed Jacoby Street, but Wolf's request was denied without
incident.
"As far as strong-arming us, that's never been the case," said McElheran. "That would have been a typical request from
any homeowner. He's a very pleasant gentleman as far as we're concerned. Every neighbor up there has been pretty easy-going
considering the noise and dust."
Wolf said he was unaware of the investigation. He acknowledged KOGAP dug a line for underground utility service into his
yard and dumped a load of fill dirt near his property. Wolf denied that he received any special treatment related to his service
on the City Council.
McElheran said many people in the neighborhood have asked for dirt — and received it.
"We've put a lot more than that in other people's yards," said McElheran. "That's a benefit to us. We don't have to haul
it away."
Gasso said he'd heard rumblings of the investigation during a recent inspection at the 15-unit project. He said construction
workers told him there was nothing inappropriate at Wolf's residence.
"They indicated to me at that time that no undue influence had been brought to bear," said Gasso.
MEMO, MEMO WHO LEAKED THE MEMO?
Somebody in city hall leaked the contents of a confidential memo from the city's
insurer, City County Insurance to Rogue River Press reported Scott Jorgenson. Now the game is finding out who did it.
The memo that was marked important and confidential was emailed to the City Council members,
but when Councilor Kathleen Price apparently faxed or emailed a copy of the memo to the reporter, she didn't know how easy
it would be to determine that she had done it. This will not look good when she tries to blame it on Gus Wolf, who was out
of town in Bend at the time.
The memo, which was a none-too- subtle threat from CCIS to leave the city high and dry for
all it's insurance needs and promised that the next insurer would charge an enormous premium, isthe crowning touch to the
Young administration and the proverbial chicken coming home to roost that was brought about by Young/Price/Muchow politics
of "let the police do whatever they want, steal money, gas, falsify time cards, threaten and harass residents or else we will
recall you, cancel meetings and cause enough confusion until you let us have it our way".
The reasons, that the city has been labeled a high liabilty and it better knock
it off.
But that doesn't scare Kathleen Price, she goes right to the press with the memo in order
to set the stage for the predictable "blame shifting"that she has been trying to pull.
Kathleen, you need to come to grips and look in the mirror, YOU are
the problem. There is a thing called community standards and they dictate what we expect from a professional, both on the
City Council and the Police Chief. Neither of you meet that bar and your antics of trying to recall the Council members who
knew what was coming and wanted to bring the Police Department into confomity with COMMUNITY STANDARDS, failed. You still
did not learn. The people of Gold Hill do not want a police chief that lies and takes our money for liquor and vacations and
rarely does his job. Your effort to try and place the blame on Gus Wolf will also fail. The insurers already said that it
was what they read in the paper that made them aware that the city was once again out of control. Try to remember with your
little dim bulb of brain what they read, remember?? the recall, that you pushed? the indictments, the tickets, the liquor,
the mayor throwing the complaints out. YOU Kathleen and your colleagues. You brought this on the city and thank goodness that
the insurance company got wind of it this time BEFORE somebody got hurt. How many complaints can you sweep under the table
in before something happens again? Wake up and smell the lawsuit.
PS the Mayor Young resigned, but that was predictable, not worth mentioning
really. It must have been frustrating with all the "good things" she had planned, like being Queen of the May, that she had
to spend 110% of her time as Dean's puppet. I think she might have hit an all time record for the most stinking politics in
the shortest amount of time.

Mayor Wants to handpick the Council |

|
Didn't we already do this with Art Camplbell? |
FALSE MAJORITY HOLDS LEGITIMATE ELECTED COUNCILORS AT BAY
Chief ready to remove elected Councilors for trying to vote
As a voting resident of Gold Hill, I have representatives that have
been elected. The requirements to hold a seat on the City Council are delineated in the Gold Hill City Charter.
I have two questions that naturally arise from the current illegal seating of Tom Daily on
the Gold Hill City Council.
First off, from what we can read, there are three councilors who have tried to establish accountability
for the troublesome Gold Hill Police Department. The councilors have been harrangued and threatened with recall by so-called
"police supporters" and yellow journalists from an no-name, pay for press publication. They are being threatened for doing
their job.
Then there is the Mayor and the other two elected councilors, Hicks and Price. They seem to
represent a hear-no-evil-see-no evil monkey system that we have seen repeatedly; a system of ignoring the problems until a
lawsuit.
Then we have an man, Tom Daily, who was never elected and according to the City Charter, was
appointed only to the Novemeber 5th election and sits there with no lawful authority.
So my question is: "Why are my elected officials, who are in the majority, being thwarted by
a false majority?"
My second question is : "If the City Council does not conform to the Charter that empowers
it, does it have the authority to spend the money that belongs to the municipal corporation of Gold Hill?"
It seems to me that an illegitmate Council, should not have the authority to continue to spend
money that belongs to the municipal corporation.
Why don't I ask the State Attorney General's office?
MAYOR YOUNG FAILS AT POLITICAL POWER GRAB
Mayor's moves have strange similarity to Dean Muchow's failed politics in Union
It took two lawyers at Monday night's Council Workshop in Gold Hill to cast a damper on
Mayor Young's attempt to sieze complete power in Gold Hill. The workshop's stated agenda was to review the "Gold Hill
City Charter, Oregon Laws and Council Rules."
League of Oregon Cities Attornry Paul Nolte was accompanied by Gold Hill
City Attorney Steven Rich.
At issue was an attempt to restore the rule of order for the Gold Hill City Council through
discussion and legal counsel.
This workshop was predicated by internal confusion within the council caused
by Young taking unauthorized authority upon herself and the disorderly conduct of Muchow's supporters in the
City Council meetings, condoned by Mayor Young.
Young, who scheduled the meeting, was visibly frustrated when things didn't turn out the
way she planned.
Armed with the nortorious, outdated "PERSONNEL MANUAL" of 1987 Young was rebuffed when she
tried to make the case for herself as the sovereign ruler of Gold Hill.
"I am the Lord Mayor of London" she repeated as she was led out of the room in a straight
jacket.
The attorneys were able to establish that the Gold Hill Charter creates a weak
mayor system with all the powers of decisions making granted to the entire Council, by a majority vote
in a public meeting. According to the Gold Hill City Charter the mayor does not have a vote,
except to break a tie.
"All powers of the City are vested in the City Council." Chapter 6, Gold Hill City
Charter
Chapter 17 "Mayor presides over council meetings and votes only when necesssary to break
a tie. Mayor shall be the recognized head of the City for all ceremonial purposes."
Young sought to overide the charter by this clause in the defunct Personnel Manual of 1987
"Mayor: The elected Chief Executive officer and head of the administrative branch of the City Government who is directly responsible
for the proper administration of ALL AFFAIRS OF THE CITY."
The 1987 PERSONNEL MANUAL although adopted by resolution under then-Mayor Gus Wolf enjoys
the distinction of never being in use, chiefly because at the time of it's inception is was immediately superseded by the
City's joining the Public Employees Union, whose Union contract then superseded the manual.
The manual has been resurrected from time to time in one unfortuitous situation or another.
It has been the subject of many in-house jokes over the years because of it's history, (after the city had paid
$10,00 for the manual and it's printings, it was lost for over a year when the councilor in possession of the copies was arrested
on drug charges and subsequently resigned while she was in possession of the copies) and many ex-councilors will swear that
they sat on the Council that rescinded it, but it seems to have a Rasputin-like quality about it.
SPEAKING OF RASPUTIN>>>>>>>>>>>
that historical monk that held sway over Tsarina Alesandra and was so
hard to kill. History tells us that when two Russian nobles decided to kill him they first tryed to poison him
by feeding him cyanide all night. Finding that had no effect, had to shoot him a few times and finally drowned the
malodorous monk.
"What" you might ask "does that have to do with Dean Muchow?"
Below is a "Stong Mayor" Initiative that Mcuhow's political group in UNION got on the ballot
in order to empower the ex-Mayor Deobrah Clark with the same powers that Sherry Young just tried to appropriate to herself.
You tell me how many similarities there are in the two stories.
Union’s Strong Mayor Initiative
by Cathi Morrison
Union 3-14-04 (URNS) – Registered voters in Union will have an opportunity
on May 18 to vote to approve or reject a "strong mayor" initiative. The initiative on the ballot will have three parts, consisting
of a Caption, Question, and Summary.
An initiative is an issue placed on the ballot by the people. A referendum is an issue
placed on the ballot by the government, to be voted on by the people. An initiative and referendum are both "measures."
Caption: "Measure establishing the powers
and duties of a Strong Mayor."
Question: "Shall the Mayor be granted powers and duties
previously executed by the City Administrator including certain enumerated powers and duties?"
Summary: "This measure would grant the Mayor the powers and
duties of the City Administrator as set forth by existing ordinances in addition to the powers and duties already granted
specifically to the Mayor by existing ordinances. The Mayor’s duties as specified in this measure would include attending
Council and Committee meetings; research and prepare reports for the Council; act as purchasing agent for the city with Council
approval required for any item costing more than $500; enforcement of all civil laws and ordinances; preparing the general
operating budget, meeting with and resolving complaints from private citizens; attend and report on governmental functions;
disclose contact with Council members; prepare meeting agendas; prepare an expenditure and "State of the City" report; and
supervise and control all non-elective city employees. The Council shall establish a base compensation for the mayor subject
to periodic increases. If passed, the measure will take effect thirty days after the election results are confirmed and certified."
If the initiative passes, the following ordinance will take effect:
Ordinance #_____
AN ORDINANCE DEFINING
THE OFFICE OF STRONG MAYOR
Whereas, the citizens of Union find it desirable to eliminate the position of
City Administrator, and instead have a Strong Mayor who will be elected by the citizens of Union and will be accountable to
those citizens, we hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1: Office Defined. The mayor shall be qualified for office and shall be
elected as ordained in the Union City Charter. This ordinance shall not change any power or duty of the mayor as defined in
any other ordinance, but will include those duties and powers described as belonging to the City Administrator in any other
ordinance.
The mayor shall have general supervision, direction and control of the non-election
officers and employees of the City of Union, and will be the Chief Financial Officer of the City.
Section 2: Powers and Duties. The mayor shall have the following powers and duties:
a. The mayor shall attend all meetings of the council, and
shall attend all meetings of the individual council committees, if requested to do so by that committee, unless he has been
excused or is unable to attend due to illness. The mayor shall make reports to the council when requested of all the affairs
of the city and departments of the city. The mayor shall be responsible to do research for the council on pending projects
or proposals, and shall complete such projects as the council may assign to him that are within his legal purvue to accomplish
such tasks.
b. The mayor will act as purchasing agent for all departments
of the city, and will establish a purchase order system for the city. Any item costing more than $500 will require a vote
of prior approval by the city council before that item or service can be ordered or purchased. Line items contained in the
approved and adopted annual budget do not constitute prior city council approval of a purchase.
c. The mayor shall ensure that all laws and ordinances, both
existing and newly adopted, are enforced, except the provisions of any laws or ordinances that involve criminal violation;
the responsibility in these cases shall be the duty of the police department. The mayor shall not, under any circumstance,
take on the direct supervision of the police officers or police business.
d. The mayor shall be responsible for preparing the general
operating budget of the city, and shall have the preliminary proposed budget ready for the deliberation of the duly appointed
budget committee no later than April 30th of each year.
e. The mayor will be responsible to meet with private citizens
and interested groups seeking information or bringing complaints and shall attempt to resolve any problems or complaints.
When the mayor is not able to resolve a problem or complaint, he will bring that issue before the city council at its next
regularly scheduled meeting. The mayor shall report all concerns from citizens or partner agencies regarding the performance
or conduct of any city employee or volunteer to the city council and allow them to determine if further action should be taken.
f. The mayor shall attend meetings and other functions sponsored
by government entities or our partner associations and will represent Union at such gatherings. The mayor will provide a report
to the next regular city council meeting of any event or meeting he attends on behalf of the City of Union.
g. The mayor shall disclose at the beginning of all city council
meetings any and all contact he has had with individual council members regarding city business since the last regular meeting,
in order to prevent any appearance of impropriety or collusion amongst individual elected officials.
h. The mayor shall prepare the agenda for all meetings. The
mayor will allow any citizen requesting to be on the agenda an opportunity to speak before the council. When a citizen has
asked to speak on a subject where a vote will be taken by the council to make a decision on that subject, the mayor shall
allow the citizen to speak and to offer pertinent information to the council prior to the vote being taken.
i. The mayor shall be responsible for creating and providing
to all citizens of Union each and every September 30, a report of the expenditures of the prior fiscal year. The mayor shall
also include a "State of the City" address with a report that outlines projects done during the past year, financial outlook
for the city in the coming year and projects provided for in the new year’s budget.
Section 4: Supervision. The mayor shall have, in order to conduct the daily business
of the City of Union, charge, supervision and control over all non-elective city employees and their work. The mayor will
use the city employee handbook and the state and federal employment statutes as his guideline in the supervision of city employees.
Under the direction of the city council, the mayor shall initiate the search for new employees and may make recommendations
to the city council in the interview and selection process, but all decisions to hire and fire city employees shall remain
with the city council. The mayor may utilize a temporary employment service in order to obtain temporary employees if the
expenditure is approved by the council. The mayor shall not hire employees directly under any circumstance.
Section 5. Compensation. The base compensation of the mayor shall be set by the
city council. The mayor may receive a cost of living raise when the city council votes to allow all city employees such an
increase, and will become a permanent part of the base salary. The mayor will not participate in the salary step table, but
will be reviewed annually each December by the city council for performance. The council will solicit public comment for the
performance review, and if there is strong objective evidence that there is justification for a performance bonus, the amount
of that bonus will be determined by the city council. The mayor shall provide a monthly accounting of his time and activities
to the city council. This report shall be made available to all citizens of Union.
Section 6: Effective Date. The current duly elected mayor shall assume the duties
of this ordinance 30 days after the election results for this initiative is confirmed and certified. The election for mayor
shall proceed along the timetable laid out in the Union City Charter
to be continued..............

Editor: Medford Tribune
Attn: Bob Hunter
Maybe it's our three councilors and news reporter that have problems with being accountable, not our Police department.
It might be worth looking into.
The way I see it we have a six pack of people, including a judge, a city recorder and a newspaper woman from the
Medford Tribune along with three councilors who will stop at nothing to discredit a police department and a its chief.
( ed: if Young wants to list the people that question the ethics and professional judgment of Dean Muchow
she needs to bring in Jamie Shropshire former City Prosecutor in McCall Idaho, the Federal District Court in Boise, Martin
Birnbaum, Union,Oregon DA, Mr. Baumgartner head of Juvenile Services in Union County and those are just the other professionals.
We are looking at something more than a six pack here, we are well on our way to a half-rack.)
The three councilors know that the $697.88 phone bill was because the chief was out of town when your news reporter
showed up at our council meeting, rushed over to the city recorder and the three councilors (Wolf, Fish, Silva) showing them
something she had. Sanne then looked over at me and stated, "He's been indicted." Needless to say, the chief was on the phone
quite a bit over this and being out of the local calling area, did not realize that he was not getting his free incoming minutes
along with his free mobile to mobile. The fact is the chief paid for his calls and we got a $197.00 credit from U.S.
Cellular. The phone plan has now been changed. How about, lets be accountable for the truth.
(ed: okay, how about not stealing the stairs in the first place? then he wouldn't have to "be on the
phone quite a bit" when it is made public. Muchow has a pattern of paying off when he is caught, he pays for the phone when
caught, he pays for the stairs when caught. But sometimes he is lucky like in the Terry Elam case where Valley County, Idaho paid
for his dirty deeds.)
How about an article announcing that Chief Dean Muchow was never indicted?
(ed: okay, I'll write an article Announcing that Chief Dean Muchow was not indicted for stealing the
stairs, that he was just charged with it it. Why split hairs? The problem is that he is accused of stealing stairs and that
the stairs appear to be attached to his home in Union)
Three unaccountable councilors, Wolf, Fish and Silva know about our city employee who got reported by Crater Sand
and Gravel for being drunk and driving the city dump truck on Saint Patrick's Day, but they have quietly ignored this because
it is their friend.
(ed: the mayor appears to have knowledge of a crime, why hasn't her PD made an arrest?)
On December 19, I had scheduled a special council meeting. Councilor Wolf called a few days before. He was very abrasive
and demanding and said that the only meeting I was going to have was an executive session with Chief Muchow and that if I
did not do what he said he would make me an ineffective mayor. I had the special council meeting along with the executive
session. Councilor Gus Wolf as usual, did not get any information on what the meeting was about to us before the session.
Then he brings the same questions that he had in our July session (Council breaks open meeting laws) when we got investigated
by the GSP. He neglected to give Chief Muchow the option of having an open or closed session and the fact is, Chief Muchow
was out of town at a training session and knew nothing about it. Our Attorney Steve Rich was there and kept Coucilor Wolf
on track.
(ed: too bad Rich couldn't keep the Mayor on track when he advised the Council to fire Muchow in July)
Councilors Wolf, Silva & Fish now make the decisions at City Hall with the help of the city recorder. Mary opens
all the mail for the mayor and tells the mayor only about the phone calls or notices that are not important. The city recorder
just got a low score on her personnel review because of this, a lower score than our police chief Dean Muchow. Mary Goddard
was given a raise despite the complaints about her. Our police chief was not given his promised raise. The money was already
budgeted but the three councilors refused to give it to him.
(ed: people of Gold Hill, I beg you to take an inside look the mind of this ignoramus that you
have allowed to operate as CEO of your municipal corporation. This letter with the attending confidential personnel information
was sent to the editor of local newspaper. )
On December 9, Gold Hill City Recorder Mary Goddard called a meeting with councilors Wolf, Fish and Daily and a reporter
with a fourth councilor standing by on the phone (Silva). She was standing by for a vote. No minutes were taken! This is a
direct violation of open meetings law.
(ed: I'll report this to the GSP on Monday and take bets that Young's charges do not hold water.)
Councilor Wolf had our city recorder hold onto a letter from Judge Don Leahan for 20 days and then they shredded
a letter to Officer Smith from Don Leahan. Now I have come to find out that shredding documents is common practice for these
councilors, per councilor Silva. It's on the tape of the May 11th executive session.
(ed: please do not use Latin when you haven't mastered your native tongue)
Councilor Wolf was unable to get Tom Daily to agree with him about firing Chief Muchow so began looking into council
seat #4 and the next election. Councilor Wolf and the city recorder then called the city attorney. Evidently they had been
planning this for days. Councilor Wolf makes a motion to remove Councilor Daily at the meeting. It is immediately
seconded and all three councilors (Wolf, FIsh, and Silva) knew about this prior to our meeting, but they sprang it on me and
Councilor Daily suddenly, without our knowledge. This is the kind of thing that I, as well as Councilor Daily, Hicks and Price
have come to expect.
(ed: I have no doubt that it comes as a surprise to Mayor Young that persons have to stand for election
to legally sit in a council seat, even when they have been appointed by her majesty.)
In July 2005, Sanne Specht called me about the credit cards charges of Chief Muchow. I politely tell her that I don't
know the answers to her questions, but I am sitting down on the chief next week and I would be glad to get back to her.
I was leaving in a couple of hours to go camping. She rudely told me that she does not have time to wait for me and slammed
down the phone.
I believe it is time for you to change reporters sent to our town by the Tribune. Sanne Specht is not only biased,
but on a mission to destroy one of city employees. She has been heard to say she is "Muchow hunting."
Let's have accountability with councilors as well as with newspapers. Call Scott Jorgensen with the Rogue River Press.
He's accountable and he has been attending the meetings. The councilors being recalled, according to Jorgenson sent a letter
to Attorney Steven RIch with a blatant lie about a quote they said Scott made.
(ed: Scott Jorgenson has been attending the meetings and during the March meeting joined in with the
OBSERVER trash in yelling from the back of the room at the Council. Jorgensen stated in a phone conversation with yours truly
that he was aware that Mayor Sherry Young had stated that she would never have let the Council vote on vacating Council seat
#4, would have closed the meeting down before she would have let the council vote and was prepared to have her 'sergeant at
arms' Muchow physically remove the councilors if they attempted to vote on it. If he denies it now, that would be parr for
the course, we don't expect high ethics from reporters who abandon their professional standards to join in
with a mob as Jorgenson did at that meeting. )
There is going to be a law suit against the City of Gold Hill. This has happened because of the unethical behavior
by Councilor Jan Fish. Letter received at City Hall from Wayne Botta May 12th 2006.
See activities from 1987 & 1988 of Mayor Wolf's shenanigans while in office. He likes to call emergency executive
sessions and vote on things while no one is looking. He's now had 20+ years of practice.
(ed: what movie does she think she is in? Maybe SUPERMAN and Bob Hunter is Perry White. He pushes the
intercom "Lois, get me the shenanigan file on Wolf, 87 & 88."................get a net)
Your news reporter is part of this and is in violation of the code of Ethics for Professional journalists. I would
be happy to send you a copy if you would like to see it. It's hard to believe she would team up with someone like Christine
Alford.
(ed: I was wondering when she would get around to me. I must be like the perennial villain in
Scooby-Doo, Mr. Withers.........)
I might be a new mayor who has no past history of political involvement but I know the difference between right and
wrong and I am surprised that a newspaper such as the Mefort Male Tributre (hic) has done so little to find out the truth.
(ed: hey Honey, you should be glad they didn't . You might say that you have no political history but
your business history has left three former business partners holding their respective bags after dealing with you.
Prior to your current involvement in city projects and trying to take credit for the hard work of others, what you were best
known for is letting your kid have underage drinking parties at your family home and bringing home transients
that you released into the neighborhood when you had tired of them. People in our neighborhood have let rabbits go but releasing
people is a new one. If, as you claim, you know the difference between right and wrong, why don't you pay the outstanding
debts that you left with at least three local business persons who don't want their names associated with you? There is a
new slogan making the rounds, "CHARACTER COUNTS" but don't worry, so far it just appears to rhetoric)
Sincerely,
Mayor Sherry Young

MAYOR THREATENS RECORDER, AGAIN, WITH TERMINATION FOR GIVING INFORMATION
TO COUNCILORS
Gold Hill Mayor Sherry Young has evidently never read the criteria for what creates a hostile
workplace, or in her typical amateurish way doesn't care about the liabilty to the city for creating a hostile workplace as
long as she gets to vent her high school bathroom, rat-tail comb politics.
One thing that could result in such a suit would be threatening an employee with termination
for doing their job or insisting that the employee violate their own professional conduct in order to keep their job. Those
are exactly the threats that have been levied by Mayor Young and Councilor Kathleen Price against City Recorder Mary
Goddard.
Young, who is holed up in her house since last night when her scheme to cancel the City
Council meeting by having Councilor Tom Daly lie about a backache, became public knowledge, has just today threatened City
Recorder Mary Goddard with her job for repeating Daly's confession to other Councilors.
Goddard's job description is that of confidential secretary to the Council and
requires no oath of secrecy to a dishonest mayor or anyone else.
Goddard has been the subject of a barrage of threats by the police chief Muchow, Police
Liason Kathleen Price and Mayor Young for failing to conceal the financial and police personnel messes that come across her
desk, phone and computer on a daily basis.
Goddard, who took over the job as Recorder when the City did not renew it's contract with
Darla Dernherder has tried to keep a low profile and do her job, but the muck of the Muchow department constantly overflows
into her offices. Goddard is well respected among other city administration professionals in the surrounding citites
that routinely share information with each other.
One recorder from a close by city has expressed disgust at the "trashy way" the Mayor, Price
and Muchow have treated Goddard.
On the up-to-the-minute reporting, we should be seeing Mayor Young, momentarily, out on
one of her tedious watering missions with her new drinking buddy and waterboy, Lorraine Daly (wife of fake Councilor
Tom Daly and bartender at the Moose Lodge) in order to make it look like she is just an innocent bystander trying to do
some good for the city.
One of the phenomenom of the self-annointed "good people syndrome" is all the
dirty rotten things that they do in the name of "good people" trying to...trying to what? fix Gold Hill? so
they pass around and sign a petition accusing their neighbors and fellow councilors as ethics violators? what
ethics violation could possibly offend the likes of a Sherry Young or a Dean Muchow? they drag the City through the mud; stop
all progress, hemmorage tax payer funds, drive up insurance costs, have no original ideas to facilitate anything, are
willing to sacrifice good employees for derelcit and employees............all in the name of "good people" trying to make
a difference..............bullshit, Sherry Young =bored people trying to play government who lack the maturity to
work on a Council and ends up pooping in their own messkits and then refusing to capitulate for the sake reason,
perfectly willing to scorch the earth as she leaves, in order, not to do good for Gold Hill but TO GET HER OWN WAY.
Mayor Young who is telling people, but just as probably lying ( how could you tell), that
she isn't running for a second term and may even be moving, became the stooge for Dean Muchow, and although even she now knows
this to be the case, can not extricate herself from the situation. Well Sherry, you've been Muchowed, how do you like it?
You turned on your neighbors to suck up to a man you barely knew and now you can stew in it, hide behind your doors, talk
to reporters who know you are lying.
When you have a dog that chases chickens, one cure was always to hang the dead chicken on
the neck of the dog until it stinks to high heaven, I think we have reached that point with the YOUNG/MUCHOW spectacle. I
wouldn't even want them to disengage at this point, they may as well ride in all the way down together.
Members
of the General Public chime in................
Attn: Sherry Young, Mayor
I am a former Mayor of the City
of Yreka, Ca. And realize that responsibility to the citizens of a
community are many.
The reason I am writing to you
is to complain about the (so-called ) Police Chief of your city and the response time it took him for the robbery on July
6th. It took 45 minutes for him to respond to the Banks call. The News Media was there in 5 minutes. Your
Chief said he was just getting off and changing his clothes to go fishing and it upset him to get the call. He certainly
leaves alot to be desired as a professional police officer. Dont you think the citizens of Gold Hill as well as the
only bank in towm deserve better security? I hope someone will have a heart to heart with him, and surely you
can find someone who is more responsible. I have also contacted Washington Mutual Executive offices in regards to the
lack of Security.
NOW THE PUBLIC KNOWS MAYOR SHERRY YOUNG AS GOOD |

MAYOR SHERRY YOUNG ASKS FAKE COUNCILOR TO FAKE BACK ACHE TO
CANCEL COUNCIL MEETING.
Appointed City Councilor Tom Daly notified Gold Hill City Recorder Mary Goddard that he
was contacted by Mayor Sherry Young and asked to lie about having a back ache in order to excuse himself from attending the
Gold Hill City Council meeting tonight.
Daly further told Goddard that he did not want to lie, he had no debilitating condition
but that "he was tired of the bs and would not be attending the meeting." Nevertheless he gave Mayor Young what she
wanted and hid out.
Goddard received three calls in a row that nobody doubts was orchestrated by Mayor Young,
first Young called and stated she would be absent, then the illuminating call from Daly and finally Police Liason
Kathleen Price called and stated she would not be attending.
What was on the agenda that Young and Price were so afraid of facing? the first guess would
be the increase in the insurance deductible from $1,000 to $10, 000 due the insurance company's awareness that the
GHPD is once again running amuck.
Although Muchow has spent some time on his gossip circuit trying to spread dis-information
regarding the insurance increase, stating that CCIS increased the deductible because of Jan Fish, (hillarious), the insurance
agency itself was quite clear as to what provoked their increase, the un-supervised, laugh of the valley, GHPD itself under
the current administration..........aka THE DEAN TEAM.
Sherry Young also had to dread coming face to face with Shayne Maxwell, her former
business associate, who was scheduled to speak in support of the kayak park.
So the hell with the other agenda items such as a scheduled appearance from the governors
offfice, Jeff Griffin regarding the $1,000,000 OWEB funding of the diversion dam.
As usual, all other city interests are shoved aside in order for the DEAN TEAM, Sherry,
Kathy, Dean, to continue to employ this ineffective boob.
